I kept my clothes in my zipped suitcase because there were small bugs crawling around the room, including in the desk, nightstand, and dresser drawers. There were insect traps in the corners, and the drawers were stained. The room didn't have the carpet shown in the pictures. The curtain rod was loose at both ends, so the curtain slid inward and let shower water spray onto the floor. The mirror had lost its reflective coating in a bottom corner. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled like old smoke, mustiness, or both. The A/C was loud. At times, people from the neighboring room were outside talking and smoking. I was in town to visit relatives, so I borrowed bug spray from them.

We got maybe 3 hours of sleep, which defeated the point of staying overnight instead of driving back to NJ in the night. The smoke smell in the rooms was really bad. The carpets were stained, the sheets had cigarette burns, and both beds and pillows were super hard. There were moths in the room, and the A/C was loud and missing vents. Even the mini fridge made too much noise. There were drug addicts and derelicts in the parking area. At $115 a room, it felt way overpriced. Check-in was quick when we arrived at 9pm, and the bathroom was clean. The sheets were clean too, even with those cigarette burns.

I expected the room to be decent for what I paid, over $150 for the night, but I can't come up with a single good thing to say about the place. Another person described a room problem that was exactly the same as mine, so I don't know if they maintain these rooms at all. The experience was just awful. Avoid it if you can, because in my opinion the savings aren't worth it.

I never stayed at the property, but my card was charged 177.00. I explained to the manager that I hadn't made the reservation, but they wouldn't listen, and I couldn't get my money back. I understand there's a policy, but why keep the charge when I didn't book the room or stay there? Anyone planning to reserve here should know that, in my experience, the people working there are dishonest and may rip you off. I still have some hope the corporate office will respond differently when I call. I'll update this as things unfold.
