Ann Arbor Regent Hotel & Suites

The breakfast is pretty ordinary, but adequate for the price. The pool and hot tub were relaxing, though the towels were comically tiny. Staff were friendly, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the hotel was super clean despite its age. Great value. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.

We arrived just before midnight without a booking, needing a room for an urgent U of M appointment. Sway was at the desk and was so understanding and helpful. She answered all our questions, shared information about the area, and found us a great room where we wanted one. Best hotel employee I've ever met!

We stay here about one weekend a month, and the only real drawback is the breakfast area. For a hotel this size, with so many guests, the lobby is twice as big as the breakfast space. There's often a line for food or drinks, then nowhere to sit, so you end up standing or waiting for a table. Everything else is truly great: the pool and hot tub always work, the rooms are clean, there are plenty of towels by the pool, and the staff are very friendly and give good directions.

We stayed in a double queen room on 11-08-25 and hated to leave. It's a beautiful hotel inside and out, clean and well cared for, with a nice smell, soft beds, fluffy pillows, and a warm room. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hot breakfast was good and appreciated, though I'd prefer scrambled eggs and a pancake maker. There are fun extras like a pool table, a hot tub by the pool, a bathroom heat lamp, a workout room, and vending machines that worked properly. This will be our first choice on future visits. Breakfast is served in a pretty small space, and it was frustrating to have so many people packed in there. I understand that the hotel has other amenities that need space, but I'd love to see the breakfast area made bigger in the future.
