Colonial House Motel

My family and I came across this place several years ago, and we keep enjoying the clean rooms and friendly staff. I love how convenient the location is, and we always choose a balcony room. The pool is fun any time of year. I'd recommend staying here for one night or several.

The sheets and towels were clean, and I'll give them that. But the room was dirty, the floor sticky, the bathroom gross, and the bed made a loud, awful groan whenever I lay down, like hitting an empty filing cabinet. It smelled musty, the front desk staff weren't polite, and traffic from the major road nearby was loud all night. There's not enough parking, so when the place is full you have to park down the street. I thought the negative reviews were exaggerating, and now I wish I'd listened. For well over $100 a night, this felt like a total rip-off. Maybe the people who liked it got a deal, because I don't know what else they'd be seeing.

Good location right on the strip, with easy access to the go-karts and other amusements. The rooms were nice and clean, and the people working there were good too. All in all, a good place to stay.

It's dated, but an okay place if all you need is a bed and a shower. We had no Wi-Fi all week, the floors were dirty, and the beds weren't comfortable. The metal frames popped and sat a little unevenly. Maid service came by every day to replace the towels, but when we went to the office with our concerns, nothing was addressed.
