Sonesta Select Arlington Rosslyn

Breakfast barely had any options, and it cost extra on top of the room. On our last night I asked the front desk for a wake-up call, but it never came. The marijuana smell was awful during our most recent stay and seeped into the room, so we blocked the door with towels and used air freshener just to sleep. I called the desk several times and no one picked up. The next night there was more of that smell, along with loud door slamming and banging from other guests. After two disappointing stays, I won't be back.

Breakfast with Noman in the coffee shop was a highlight every morning. He looked after us especially well, and the coffee was terrific. Everyone we dealt with was efficient and welcoming, from the accommodating front desk team to the other employees who treated us like family.

Rosslyn Metro station is close enough to walk to, and we could also walk to several restaurants, coffee shops, and a nearby Target. My friend and I had a nice visit. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable enough, and the staff were friendly and answered our questions. Breakfast isn't free, though there are paid options, and there's no shuttle. If I travel to the DC area again, I'd stay here.

The staff made me feel looked after, and this is good value in a nice neighborhood. Target and Safeway are easy to get to, and DC tacos is just around the corner.
