La Quinta Inn And Suites By Wyndham Armonk Westchester

The front desk person was friendly, and the free breakfast was a mediocre continental one. My room was only halfway decent and not very clean, and the rooms need serious updating. Right after I arrived, I had to call maintenance about a nasty toilet that hadn't been cleaned and broken locks on the bathroom door. There weren't enough outlets for charging devices. The back door, supposedly secure, gave easy access into the hotel, so what's the point of a key card reader if anyone can walk in and out?

We were in town for a wedding and stayed four days. The price was very affordable for the area, and the room was comfortable, with air conditioning and a wall heater. There was a single cup coffee maker, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. Some furniture was older, though most of the room had been updated. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the place was clean and neat, with the staff doing a great job every day. Breakfast had make-your-own waffles, muffins, bagels, cream cheese, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, bananas, apples, and tea. Scrambled eggs or some kind of meat would've been nice, but we certainly didn't go hungry. I'd definitely stay there again.

The hotel isn't the most modern, but it was just right for a quick stay, with clean rooms, friendly staff, and a well-stocked breakfast. It's easy to get to from the highway. We arrived late at night with two little kids, but check-in was quick and easy, and the room was ready with a crib. The breakfast attendant was so sweet with my children. It was a great experience.

The continental breakfast was adequate, and the room fridge, microwave, and work desk with multiple power points all worked as expected. We stayed four nights, Wednesday to Sunday, for a family function. The room was clean when we arrived, and staff kept it that way while being careful with our personal items. The bathroom was fine, with great hot water and shower pressure.
