Residence Inn by Marriott Arvada Denver West

The pool slide was a hit with us, and the water was warm with pretty scenery around it. The rooms were clean and stayed at a comfortable temperature, and the rates seemed reasonable. Residents Inn was a great experience, thanks to the helpful, lovely staff. I’d happily stay again.

The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and I slept really well. Check-in was smooth, with staff who were both warm and efficient. The clean, calm lobby made arriving feel easy, too. I thought the property offered good value, and I’d recommend it and would be glad to return.

We’ve stayed here since it first opened, and the walkable location keeps working for us. Restaurants and a movie theater are nearby, and Old Arvada is just a short walk away with lots to do. The staff are friendly and accommodating. TJ, the front desk manager, is the best. We get a warm welcome and good service every time.

I regret spending money here. We booked through a third party, and the staff treated us like a joke, as if that meant they didn’t need to be kind. Check-in was a hassle, and when I told the front desk girl the stay had been bad, she said I could mention it in the review, laughed, and hung up. The staff were rude to our kids, too. In the room, there were hairs in the bathroom and on the mattress, and the counter hadn’t even been fully wiped. I expected much better from a Marriott property that claims to be kid-friendly. The staff, especially in the morning, were rude and didn’t seem to care about customer service. I can’t believe how bad this was, and I wondered how awful checkout would be. I absolutely don’t recommend it.
