Home2 Suites By Hilton Ashburn, Va

Jamshid especially stood out with his great service and made a strong impression on us and our foreign guests. Hilton did well hiring him, he’s a real asset and deserves a promotion. The new hotel is lovely, clean, and well appointed, with comfortable rooms and beautiful facilities.

The main problem was the parking setup, which brought this down to three stars for me. The open hotel lot costs $10, but the payment app adds a $1.50 charge, and the tip app adds fees too, so bring cash if you want to leave a tip. It’s the principle, not just the $10. I asked what happens if you don’t pay and was told a tow truck checks the lot day and night, so it feels like the fee is paying for those checks. I’d strongly prefer free parking or having the charge added to the room, and at least get rid of the app. The whole thing feels like a racket and adds insult to injury. I stay in Ashburn every week and tried this Hilton because my usual place was full. I was excited to make it my new regular spot, but the parking nonsense changed my mind. Fix that and it’d be five stars. The location is great, the rooms are new, large, and clean, and the staff are great.

Samaya was always so friendly to my dog, which helped me feel at ease and welcome. The general manager was also especially kind and welcoming, and Samaya and Jeremy were both nice and helpful. Housekeeping was very helpful too, and Mr. Jamshid fixed my room keys several times, something I really appreciated. I had a comfortable stay at Home2 Suites Ashburn with very good service, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff were lovely and accommodating, and the hotel itself was great. I’m here about four days a week, so being comfortable and having a clean room matter a lot to me. The walls and ceiling are thin, though. Every night I could’ve sworn there was an elephant above me. Parking at $10 a day is kind of ridiculous, especially since the PMC Pay app adds another $1.50 service fee.
