The breakfast is my favorite part of each visit. There’s fresh coffee, juice, bagels, fruit, cereal, and more set out around dining room tables, which gives it a homey feel. The Looking Glass Inn also feels safe and close to everything we visit, and check-in and check-out are easy. This is our fourth stay over the last five years, and it’s still our favorite place in Indy. The hosts are always welcoming. The Inn is beautifully decorated and well kept, with historical pieces and photos. We’ve stayed in three rooms, all clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and a great jacuzzi tub. Towels, linens, and toiletries are stocked, and there’s complimentary coffee, an ice machine, and snacks down the hall. Even the staircase, furniture, and giant hallway mirror are lovely.

We stayed in the Hideaway suite with four adults and one child, and there was plenty of space. It was very clean, and the innkeeper was lovely. The only thing I’d change is adding a knob to the inside of the bathroom door. Since it’s a bifold door, closing it from inside was tricky. Breakfast was continental, with yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, muffins, hard-boiled eggs, and more. There were cookies at check-in for an afternoon snack, plus popcorn for the microwave and granola and Nutragrain bars in the room. A large hotel chain recommended this place after they were booked. I’d stay again if I’m in the area.

We stayed in the Willow Room several times while attending Gen Con, and it was a delight. The owners were friendly and responsive, and I’d happily recommend the place. It’s walkable to the Convention centre, about 25 minutes on foot if you’re European and don’t mind that kind of walk. We’d certainly return if we go to Indy again.

I stayed here with my wife nine years ago, and coming back felt just as good as I remembered. The house is stunning and the stay was perfect. Andy looked after us the whole way and makes fantastic muffins. I love this house, and it’ll be the only place I stay downtown. Thanks, Andy and The Looking Glass Inn.

We spent the night here for our wedding anniversary. The innkeeper was great, the house is in incredible shape, and the location is wonderfully close to just about everything. I’d highly recommend staying here.
