At about 2:00 AM, a bed bug crawled past my head while I was lying in bed, so I packed up and checked out. I was afraid of bringing the bugs home in my belongings. I didn’t want to leave in the middle of the night, but I didn’t feel I could safely stay. Management wouldn’t refund me. They said their team found nothing and called me a liar, even though I’d explained what happened. I booked the hotel to enjoy my stay, not to be forced out at 2 AM and then face the worry that bugs might ruin everything I own. I had to find somewhere else to go and deal with all that stress, while the hotel kept my money. There was no urgency, empathy, or accountability. This is a serious sanitation issue, not a small inconvenience. I hope to resolve it, but I’ll be contacting corporate and the BBB.

The rooms and the complex are a little dated, but we had a great stay. It felt cozy, everyone was super friendly, and they even did our dishes without us asking, which was amazing!

The breakfast and relaxing by the lobby fire were my favorite parts. We were working remotely, and the WiFi was good. Being so central also made it easy to walk out for lunch. Our room was clean, and the stay was a positive one.
