The location worked really well for where we needed to go, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and nice, with all the kitchen amenities, and the gym was good too. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Bring quarters if you need to do laundry. The shower water didn’t get as warm as I’d like, and the pressure was low. Otherwise, I’d highly recommend it.

This hotel was vile, poorly maintained, and full of construction workers, mostly men. I watched two people canvass the lot for unlocked cars. The lobby smelled like marijuana and felt like a brothel. The carpet felt like soggy cardboard and smelled like a zoo. At night I had barking dogs and constant highway traffic to listen to. Around 6 PM, a hallway party started and set off more barking from a nearby room. I called down to ask for another room, but was told the system was down, so they didn’t know who was in which room and couldn’t move me. There was no security, and it didn’t seem like anyone cared what was happening or what might happen to guests. I packed up and went to the Marriott. I spend about 80% of my month in hotels, and this was probably one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Dear Reader, go to the Marriott.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and it was super quiet. There’s a nice, somewhat private gym. The dishwasher was running when I arrived and kept rinsing with very hot water until I held the cancel button. The shower never really got hot. I’d recommend the place.

We booked two queen suite rooms for Saturday night, checking out Sunday, for me and my family. After a three-hour trip, we arrived at 2:30 to check in. Only one room was ready. I was told the other would be ready at 3 and that they’d call me, but when I came back to the lobby at 3:15, they were still cleaning and neither room was available. I finally got into my room at 5:30. My grandson went to shower and found the towel under the sink soaked. The rest were wet too because water was steadily leaking from the sink or wall. I called the front desk and spoke to Jayda ( Front Desk), who had checked us in. She asked us to pack up and come back down so she could move us, but then said there were no rooms available. She had to call maintenance, who live offsite. I was already upset about the late room, the leak, and the musty smell, and now we had packed everything just to be sent back to the same room. Maintenance agreed the pipe needed fixing, left, then returned 15-20 minutes later and fixed it, but the room smelled horrible. I talked to Jayda again, and she said she’d comp the room but could only do 50%, and would ask the manager about comping all of it. The next morning at 9, while I was asleep in the dark, housekeeping opened the door despite my do not disturb sign. I screamed and jumped up. A girl who didn’t speak English was there; I asked if I could help, but she scurried away without answering. I was alone in the room and felt unsafe, ready to check out. I was shocked that the front desk didn’t seem to care. This has never happened at any Hilton I’ve stayed at, and I’m surprised by this property because I’ve always had good experiences.

The rooms looked modern and were clean, and breakfast came with real plates and silverware. We could also walk to the Fashion Mall. We were there over New Year's because the location worked well for visiting family nearby. It seemed like only three other families were staying, and I hope the hotel gets busier at other times so it can stay in business. The staff let our family of eight have a pizza party in the dining area instead of squeezing everyone into our suite. We would have fit in the room, but seating would've been tricky. One of the two microwaves acted oddly after a single use, and the full-size fridge made a lot of gurgling noises, though it stayed cold.
