The breakfast was a lovely end to the stay. The chef serving quiche was friendly and funny. Earlier, the staff had made us feel very welcome, and I loved the building’s architecture and tasteful, personal decor. Our room was spacious for the price, with a comfortable king bed and jacuzzi tub. There was also a hallway snack station with drinks, chips, and popcorn, all free. I’d recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the Indianapolis area.

We’ve stayed here twice now and really enjoyed it. The house’s story and architecture were lovely to experience. Breakfast includes fresh coffee, juice, fruit, muffins, cereal, and more, plus a freshly cooked hot meal served in the dining room. Staff are friendly and helpful, and snacks and drinks are available for guests anytime.

The breakfast is worth making time for, and we especially liked eating outside on the roof. There are lounges and other open areas to enjoy, with massage and other services available too. Shops, galleries, and coffee houses are within walking distance, and there are plenty of dining or delivery choices. We stayed in a beautiful, romantic Italian-inspired villa, and many rooms have big two-person jacuzzi tubs. The staff were helpful and friendly. One man even stayed up until 3 a.m. to let us in after our trip to Indianapolis ran late, and they let us use their printer when we’d forgotten to print our tickets. For the price, it’s a great deal compared with a downtown hotel room or suite. If you’re planning a honeymoon in Indy, this is the place.

I felt safe staying here on my own, and it was more comfortable for me than a pricier hotel. The room and bathroom were nearly spotless. I did bring bleach and clean the tub first because public bathtubs make me uneasy, and I didn’t use the jets in the huge Jacuzzi. Tea, coffee, snacks, movies, and books were available in the butler’s pantry. I spent the evening reading and watching movies, then had a long bath. The Looking Glass Inn, affiliated with the Villa Inn, was a nice, inexpensive place to get away alone while I was having a difficult time. It’s close to downtown Indy, so I could shop and get dinner. I booked a massage on arrival and got in the same day. It was good and the therapist was professional, though I felt a little uncomfortable that he was male. Next time I’d book ahead and request a woman, based on my preference. I had to leave early for a family birth and cancel a morning manicure, and the staff accommodated me without a penalty. I’d recommend it to couples, solo travelers, or friends.

The house had a great atmosphere inside and out, and we had a fantastic midweek getaway for our 20th anniversary. We’d happily return. A few small things: our room was a bit chilly in late January, though it wasn’t unbearable and the comfortable king bed had plenty of warm blankets. The website showed a bar, which we thought we could use, but it isn’t a working bar because there’s no liquor license. We went out to dinner instead. Around 3 a.m. my wife heard beeping from downstairs; it bothered her a little, though I didn’t hear it.
