Studio 6 Corporate Extended Stay Indianapolis, IN - North Carmel

The highway sign said 49.99, but calling the facility using the number on Google maps got me a quote of 79.99 plus tax. I said I could get a better rate on several platforms, and they lowered it to 64.99 plus tax, which came to almost 80. When I got there at 11pm, nobody was present. The number posted there connected me to a woman who said there was no hot water, she didn’t know when it would be fixed, and there’d be another 50.00 fee on top of what I’d already paid. She clearly didn’t want to check in another guest that late, though who knows, maybe she was exhausted from the whole pricing maze. I called back to cancel, but was told I couldn’t, even though I’d booked only minutes earlier and they couldn’t accommodate me. Airbnb is more transparent, less hassle, and almost always cheaper 🫪

There was what seemed like soft porn playing on the lobby TV, and this was supposedly the “business suite” update. The room at Studio 6 in Carmel Indiana smelled like a wet dog and was totally unsanitary. The bed skirt had blood on it, the sheets were dirty and stained, and I found hair in the bed. The TV was broken. I refused the room after being in it for four minutes, then went back to the front desk, but it was locked up at 8pm on Saturday night. I called the posted number and was told everything would be refunded. Instead, I was charged 118 for the room and a 100 dollar cleaning deposit, 218 dollars total. When I disputed it, they said I had used the room. Please refer to photos.

The area was great and my room was clean. Expedia.com messed up my reservation, but Keisha and Tina at Studio 6 helped sort it out and made check-in go smoothly. The staff were truly amazing, thank you so much!

Check-in was quick, and the room, bathroom, and bedding all looked clean and well cared for. I was only there for one night. The problem was the shower had no hot water. The front desk attendant said it works only sometimes and they hope to fix it, but who knows how long that’ll take.
