Christy was friendly and welcoming, and gave us good suggestions for places to eat nearby. We stayed in the tower room, which felt like our own little retreat, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Cedar Crest Inn is a lovely Victorian house that brought back my fondness for 19th century novels, though it has some modern conveniences too. It's very close to the Biltmore estate, and I didn't feel we missed out by not staying on the property.

We hadn't planned to stop in Asheville, but spotted Cedar Crest Inn up on a hill and drove over to ask about rooms. A cancellation meant we could stay in a lovely queen room with a fireplace. The house was gorgeous, with original woodwork, beautifully decorated rooms, and wonderful staff. Our bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was tasty and nicely presented. We took a Lyft into town and caught a great bluegrass band. We had a great time at both the inn and in Asheville.

The Reese Study room was lovely and had its own entrance. Christy was kind and made sure we had what we needed. The home is beautifully styled, and I was completely taken with it. I've already told two people about this place, and we can't wait to come back.

Christy was a great hostess and shared interesting stories about Asheville and the house, which dates to 1891 and has plenty of history. The woodwork is impressive, and some of the stained glass is Tiffany. We enjoyed our stay and the pleasant continental breakfast. I especially liked the house made granola with vanilla honey yogurt.

The wood paneling is stunning, and it was interesting to read about the house's history. We got a warm welcome, cookies included. Though the property is on Biltmore Ave, traffic noise never bothered us. Its location near the hospital and Biltmore Village is very convenient. The wraparound porch is a nice spot to sit outside, and there's a quiet residential neighborhood behind the property with a park for an easy walk. Our room was a little small, which seems typical of a house from this era. The mattress was softer than we like, though plush-bed fans may enjoy it. Breakfast was adequate. It's a charming historic B&B with friendly hospitality and I'd gladly recommend it.
