Diane and Dan were wonderful hosts, and we had such good conversations with them. Their breakfast the next morning was amazing and kept us full all day. Dan had suggested Nine Mile, an easy walk from the B&B, and it was a great recommendation. We stayed in the immaculate Thomas Wolfe Suite while visiting the trolls at the NC Arboretum. The room was quiet, and the bed was super, super comfy. I'd looked at lots of local B&Bs and am so glad we picked Pinecrest Bed and Breakfast. Thanks to Dan & Diane for making it special!

Dan and Diane make you feel so welcome and special, and we always enjoy meeting the other guests over breakfast. We've met some really interesting people there. This was our second stay at Pinecrest Bed & breakfast, and it feels like a second home. We always book the same adorable room. It's immaculate, parking is easy, some restaurants are within walking distance, and downtown is under ten minutes away. Breakfast is abundant and extraordinary. In the evening, tea, coffee, and delicious cookies are there to serve yourself. The place was nicely decorated for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Debbie and Alan.

We stayed at Pinecrest Bed & Breakfast Inn from October 14-16, 2025, and left refreshed, well-fed, and grateful for the memories. This historic home is in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of downtown Asheville, and surrounded by lush gardens. Breakfast around the large dining table was a highlight. We enjoyed talking with other guests, swapping sightseeing tips and restaurant suggestions. Innkeepers Dan and Diane joined us and shared helpful ideas that made planning our days easier. We explored local shops and antique stores. We also had a superb meal at The Corner Kitchen, a fine dining spot beautifully rebuilt after last year's flooding from Hurricane Helene. A scenic drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway gave us breathtaking fall foliage views from the overlooks. We took two short hikes, one to the old fire tower atop Frying Pan Mountain and another to serene Moore Cove Falls. Pinecrest was a gem for comfort, charm, and an Asheville stay.

Pinecrest B & B is tucked away in my neighborhood, and Dan and Diane are incredible people with hearts of gold. They put everything into making guests' visits special. Stay here for a memorable trip to the area, and I bet you'll want to come back again and again.

Dan and Diane helped make our first anniversary a phenomenal close to our first year together. We'd hoped to hold our wedding here, but after the hurricane we came for the anniversary instead. Pinecrest feels relaxed and homey. You can share a gourmet breakfast with the other guests or choose a romantic seclusion package. Keep things simple with a lovely place to stay, or add packages to make more of an experience. The house is beautiful, in a gorgeous historic neighborhood that feels like stepping into another time. It's walkable to downtown, so you can enjoy Asheville's busy commercial district and then return to somewhere quieter. Dan and Diane have put together a collection about the house's history and several neighborhood walking tours, which make you feel connected to the home. There are fresh-baked snacks, water to take on the road, and coffee or tea to enjoy while reading on the porch. The comforts and pampering felt like a visit to grandma. Come for a relaxing trip downtown, stay for that warm, homey feeling.
