The rooms and common areas were dirty, and we were very disappointed for the price. We checked several rooms, and the sheets in all of them had stains and hair. The bathrooms, toilets, and sinks were dirty too. A dog in another room barked loudly, that room smelled of cigarettes, and the hallway smelled like weed. The manager was slow to help, and they didn’t even have a laundry bag to give guests. We called the front desk many times and waited a long time for our deposit, but nobody was there, answered the phone, or called back. The management was terrible. There was no breakfast or ice machine, and the few parking spaces were out front. The deposit receipt was handwritten. Other hotels at this price already include breakfast and have cleaner rooms.

I had high hopes, but the stay went downhill fast. I checked into the suite I’d reserved on Saturday night, but the water pressure was poor. The in-room phones didn’t work, so I went to the front desk three times. They eventually moved me to a double queen room, where the pressure was better but there was barely any hot water. At times, the hallway smelled strongly of urine. On checkout day, my door slammed shut while I was loading the luggage cart, and my key wouldn’t work. I waited downstairs for two hours, then finally found someone who knew where a worker lived. We had to wake her so she could help the three of us waiting. They said the person on shift hadn’t shown up. Instead of finding cover, they left guests waiting and hoping someone came. Their only offer was a discount on another night. I won’t stay again. They did nothing to make up for the lost time or for making me late to work.

I stayed two nights in room 512 this past weekend. What first seemed to be a roach problem turned out to include bed bugs, and I had large, round red marks where I’d been bitten. When I called a few days later, management brushed me off and never reached out. On other stays, I’ve found dog urine on the sheets, a rotten garbage smell throughout the second floor, and my door left open by maintenance with my valuables inside. The clientele can also seem pretty sketchy. Though the hotel was fully renovated a few years ago, the cleaning practices have turned it into a roach motel with bed bugs too. I should’ve paid attention to the warning signs instead of trying to save money. Spend the extra $10-20 for a hotel rated four stars or better.

Please don’t spend even 60 bucks here. The hallways and stairs were dirty, and so were the rooms. In the first room, the shower had dark, black spots that looked like mold, and there was lipstick on a pillow. We asked to switch, but the bed and sheets in the next room were stained too, along with a lamp. I saw a review mentioning bed bugs, and that could easily be true. I didn’t want to risk my clothes and things getting contaminated, so we’re staying somewhere else.
