Franziska Haus

After a day visiting wineries, we loved being able to relax in the great room. The grounds are beautiful in every direction, and breakfast was gourmet and top-notch. Our room was lovely and very quiet, and the owners and staff made us feel right at home. They were quick to respond when anything came up and happy to arrange tours or suggest places to visit nearby. We'll definitely return to Franziska Haus.

Franziska Haus is such a cozy, welcoming B&B, and its location worked perfectly for all our daily wine outings in the beautiful Willamette Valley. Our room was a suite, with a stunning view from the balcony. The owners, Keith and Chelsea, were warm and wonderful, and the chef's breakfast each day could rival a five-star restaurant. A must-book for us. We can't wait to come back next year.

Franziska Haus made our September trip so easy, with a spacious, very comfortable room, a beautiful balcony, and plenty of privacy. The hospitality from everyone there was gracious, and there was a wonderful gourmet breakfast every morning. We'd already stayed at two other places in the region, but for our next visit we'll choose Franziska Haus. It's right in the middle of everything we wanted to do in this gorgeous part of the Willamette Valley: a week of golf in three locations, deep wine experiences at several nearby properties, including some of the area's top-rated wines, and beautiful dining events. I'm late writing this because of a long home project and more travel, but I didn't want to leave out this gem. Don't miss it if you're visiting Willamette.

Keith, the innkeeper, was a great communicator and gave us dinner referrals and helped find a driver for our winery tour day. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable. We also loved the manicured grounds and the cozy living area, with comfy couches and a roaring fire. Our weekend at Franziska House was fabulous. Fall in Willamette Valley is spectacular, and this was a five-star trip. We'll be back.
