Nice staff, and the place is cheap and clean with a decent bed. For the price, it’s decent. The walls are somewhat thin, and sound carries even though they’re concrete. The air conditioner was the main problem: after one compressor cycle, it shut off and wouldn’t run another unless I switched it off or put it on fan-only for ten minutes.

A nice little motel with affordable, pleasant rooms and the basic amenities. The AC worked well, the front desk person was friendly, and checking in was quick. I’d consider staying here again.

The bedding was clean and the price was affordable, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for comfort. Our room was very warm at the start of summer, and the built-in AC didn’t help much because it was behind a desk. The remote only turned the TV on and off and changed the volume, so we couldn’t change channels. One bath towel had large black stains. The refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave were all connected to the same power strip, which seemed like a fire hazard. Paint was peeling from the bathtub, making it practically impossible to bathe. When we went to check out, our key card had already been deactivated, more than 30 minutes before the posted checkout time. We could have been locked out while our belongings were still inside. We tried to raise these issues and ask for a refund as we left, but the office was empty. A sign said to ring for assistance, but there was no bell. It’s an affordable place to sleep and get out of the elements, but that’s about it.

We pulled off I-5, slept, had a light breakfast, and got back on the road in the morning. The room was quiet, with no noise from neighbors, and checkout went as smoothly as check-in. A great budget stay, and it felt good to support a family business.
