Winchester Inn

Sabrina at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. It’s a nice bed and breakfast right downtown, handy for walking to shops, restaurants, and a show.

Gina, Star, and Nina made our night at Belvedere especially memorable, and the hand soap was amazing. Laurie, the owner, is really kind and runs a fantastic Boutique Inn. We loved our stay and hope to visit and enjoy the Winchester again soon.

My one-night stay at the Hotel on 10/15/25 was good, but a month later they charged my card $30, saying a set of keys was missing. That’s absolutely false. I was given only two keys at check-in, one for the room and one for the building. When I returned the keys at checkout, nobody said anything about one being missing. Later, the hotel said I had returned only one set. Now all I can do is dispute the charge with my credit card company. Be aware, this feels like a scam against customers.

We had to leave a day early after our plans changed, but the hotel wouldn’t let us apply the prepaid payment to another stay, even though we come up every 2-3 months. The cancellation policy requires 30 days’ notice, so we lost the room payment. Get the insurance. Also, a ground floor room still had steps up to the door. I asked whether the hotel had an ADA room because the stairs were a problem for my daughter. I was told it was a two-room suite, but nobody offered to move us. By then, though, we’d already established that we’d forfeit Friday’s reservation because we were leaving early, so an offer at that point would have been moot. We were also told after checking in that we were the only guests overnight and there would be no staff at all until morning. Just FYI.
