St. Regis Residence Club, Aspen

Cash was taken from an envelope in my bag during my week-long stay. I never took the bag out of the room, and I'd just received the cash when I landed in Aspen, so it was easy to tell it had been taken. Who knows what else might be missing from my things? The response from customer service was basically that nobody admitted to it, so I was on my own and should have used the safety deposit box. No reimbursement, no offer of credit, no reassurance at all. Utterly shameful care. Don't stay here if you expect basic guarantees that your belongings are safe.

The highlight of our stay was time at the pool with Satya, one of the wait staff. He greeted us with a huge smile, remembered our names on later days, and noticed when we struggled with a water bottle. He came right over with ice and help before we even asked. Every interaction felt kind and joyful, and his thoughtful, proactive service made the whole visit special. It's rare to find that kind of heartfelt care, even at a five-star resort. He sets a gold standard and deserves recognition, including a raise. The St. Regis Aspen itself was beautiful, with luxurious, comfortable rooms, and staff who responded to every request. They even brought us several humidifiers to make the dry mountain air more comfortable. We had a spectacular stay and will absolutely return, especially looking forward to seeing Satya again. We ordered steak and eggs off the menu, along with specialty poached eggs, and everything was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, the eggs were exquisite, and we added a bottle of wine. They even had my favorite flowers available, such thoughtful attention to detail. Our server, Ardi, went out of his way to make breakfast special. The St. Regis Aspen delivered a memorable meal with impeccable service and a wonderful atmosphere. We woke up craving excellence and got more than we expected. The quality felt unmatched in Aspen. We can't wait to return!
