The room was comfortable, the bed was comfortable, and the location works perfectly for visiting family. But we won’t stay here again after being jolted awake by the back door slamming. Our room was at the end of the hall beside it, and the door shook the room each morning, once starting at 6 am and the next day at 4 am. I asked the front desk after the first morning if they could put up a note asking people to close it softly. The woman there had been asleep and only woke when she dropped her phone. She didn’t offer us another room or put up a note, so it kept slamming at 4 am. We were assigned an accessible room, which was fine, but the shower leaked across the large bathroom and sometimes toward the entry. We put towels down so we wouldn’t slip or stand in water. Housekeeping hadn’t come by, so my husband asked for extra towels in the afternoon. The desk gave him just one and said housekeeping would come, but nobody did. We ended up with wet towels piled up and had to share the one extra towel. We could manage the water on the floor, given the challenges accessible bathrooms can have, but not being able to get more towels was annoying. If you stay, don’t take a first-floor room.

They said I hadn’t paid the full amount, then realized they’d misplaced the money. It stressed me out all week while I tried to sort things out. I paid an extra $50 to be safe and asked to see the cameras, but they never showed them to me. I also hadn’t been given my change at check-in, though I didn’t realize that until they brought it up. After the problems, they apologized and offered a $50 room discount. They returned the extra $50 I’d paid and the $50 change they owed me. At checkout, I got the $100 room deposit back, but not the promised $50 discount. They said they’d already applied it, ignoring that the money they returned included my change. They later claimed the extra payment and change were returned and the discount applied. I got $200 total, $100 for the change, $50 for the extra payment, and $100 for my deposit. I didn’t care much about the discount itself, since I hadn’t asked for it, but it’s annoying they offered it and then didn’t follow through after all the mistakes. I’m never staying there again.

The room was clean and comfortable, and everything else was great. But whenever I walked through the lobby, nobody was at the front desk. I never saw a single employee the whole time I was there.

Breakfast was okay, with several different foods to choose from, and the front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating when they moved me to another room. The first room had vomit on the curtains. The next had hair in the bed and bathroom, a microwave that started smoking when I used it, and no TV remote. The elevator sways from side to side when it reaches the third floor. My mother fell getting out of the tub because its bottom wasn’t properly surfaced, and it needs some kind of nonslip mat. Not the best stay.
