The day and night desk attendants were fantastic: friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They made my one-night stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Athens North much better. I had a basic room that was clean and seemed in order, but the hotel feels outdated and needs renovation. The bathroom faucet barely reaches over the sink, so washing my hands meant splashing water over the back edge. There were also holes and wall anchors left where fixtures had been removed or replaced. The AC made a loud creak whenever the fan or motor shut off, like a slow, squeaky door opening during the night. The walls are very thin, and I could hear someone blasting rap music and basically holding a concert in the shower. The road nearby brought plenty of traffic noise too, so keep that in mind if you need quiet to sleep. The staff were excellent and the room was clean, but the building needs updating and better sound insulation.

The room was large and the beds were comfortable. It was okay for one night, though the hallways smelled of weed and the place felt a little rundown. The photos show plenty of wear and tear, including stains on the furniture. It wasn't terrible, but it's worth knowing about before you stay.

The breakfast had lots of options and was amazing. Our room was very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The remote was missing, so we called the front desk and they brought one over very quickly. I probably shouldn't even count that as a problem. I'd definitely stay again.

I've stayed here several times. The rooms are comfortable and the service is always friendly. Parking can get crowded, especially when work trucks fill the lot, and getting in and out is a little tricky during busy traffic times.

Our room was super big, and the location was perfect. The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. Definitely coming back.
