Breakfast was the standout, fresh and hot, and you could tell the staff put effort into making it a good experience. The room was clean too, and the hotel staff were great.

The beds were comfortable, and I slept great. The front desk staff were nice enough. That’s about the best I can say. The room felt dirty to stay in, and the furniture was so worn that the chair looked like it belonged out on the curb. The rooms are dated and badly need a makeover, even though the location is good. I’m used to staying at Marriotts, and this felt like one of those movie motels. Housekeeping hadn’t cleaned, so I called to ask why. They told me they only clean every other day. You don’t say? 😂 I wouldn’t stay here again. If I’m back in the area, I might actually try the Super 8 across the street. Yikes. See photos.

I was here for a church conference and had a wonderful stay. The room was spotless and nicely organized, and the hotel felt cozy and accommodating. I’ll choose it again next time.

This review is very late, but I had to write it. I deal with really bad anxiety, and the staff were so kind when things went wrong on our trip. My father, cousin and I had driven eight hours from southern Michigan for an important family event. I’d booked online through a third party, but I accidentally reserved September instead of August. The app wasn’t working, and changes or cancellations had to go through that third party. We were already running late, with another 25-minute drive to the event. The woman who helped me was incredibly patient while I was starting to have an anxiety breakdown. Money is tight and times are hard, and she could see how upset I was. She explained what I needed to do about the September reservation, then quickly found us two very reasonably priced rooms that were nice and clean so we could get on our way. Before we checked out the next morning, I went to the front desk to sort out the extra reservation before driving back to Michigan. The morning staff already knew what was going on and helped me figure out how to resolve it. Everything was taken care of before I left. I can’t thank them enough. Everyone we met was really nice. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area, and next time I’ll call to book.
