We stayed one night with my family on the way home from vacation and really enjoyed it. Communication with the hotel was easy and efficient. As a Gold member, I asked for an upgrade and they accommodated it, along with an early check-in. The front desk staff were polite and hospitable. The whole place was clean and quiet, and our room was comfortable and clean too. It was decorated for Easter, which gave it a homey feel. There's a pool, though it was too early in the season for us to use it. The town of Athens is a short drive away and seems to be revitalizing, with some cute shops and restaurants. We ate at a trendy pizza place downtown and recommend it as well.

The breakfast was great and the cleanliness was top notch. I believe the staff member's name was Jeff, and his service was exceptional. We prefer Marriott over everywhere else because of service like his. He made our quick overnight stay easy. Thank you!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the property is in a nice location. But the front desk lady was very rude. She kept asking me for documents, then I overheard her making rude comments about me afterward. I don't know how she got through the Marriot training. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and have never been treated this way. Totally unsatisfactory for a Marriot property. Stay away.

Being right off the highway was convenient, and there were a few restaurants nearby. The hotel is new and clean. The room was clean too, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good, not great, but adequate. The gym was nice, though the floor was a little hard and they could use a couple of yoga mats.

Such a lovely establishment, with clean rooms and pleasant staff. Breakfast was above what I expected, with egg-bites, good oatmeal additions, and a number of other nice details.
