Hilton Garden Inn Athens Downtown

We really liked the downtown location, and the hotel was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The staff were kind and greeted us, and the room looked nice and felt clean. There was loads of counter space, roomy nightstands, and even a little place for shoes. The water pressure and temperature were impressive, which matters to me, lol. The bed let things down: the mattress wasn't great, and the thin comforter, sheets, and pillowcases weren't soft. I also wish there'd been more towels in the bathroom. Still, we enjoyed the stay and would come back when we're in town again.

Jake at the front desk was a huge help while we were in town for college tours. He knew the hotel and was happy to share his own university experience and tips about downtown. The service was exceptional, and the accommodations were just what we expected. Thanks, Jake, keep it up!

Morgan and Jennifer at reception were warm and professional, and their service really added to the stay. The room was spotless, the amenities were top notch, and the location was hard to beat. The only little drawback was that the staff uniforms looked like they might be itchy. I'd definitely come back to the Hilton.

I'm in town for shows at the GA Theater, and this place works well for me as a bus driver who needs to sleep during the day after driving overnight while the bands sleep. It's generally quiet, aside from the occasional siren, and the staff are very accommodating. Food and entertainment are easy to reach on foot, too. Thanks for another good stay!
