The room was quiet, and it was somewhat cheap, but the condition made it feel worth about $30 at most. There was an awful smell so strong that even though I smoke cigarettes, I couldn’t stand being in there. Filth streaked down practically every wall, and the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the 1980s or 1990s. I was scared to sit on the bed, and the TV wouldn’t work at all.

Never again. The room was in such rough shape, with grime running down every wall and a terrible smell that was hard to put up with. I was wary of even sitting on the bed. The TV didn’t work either. For what they charge for a week, it seemed worth even less than the oil they use to run the place.

We travel for weekend trips often and have stayed in some pretty shady places, but this wasn’t one of them. It’s clean and kept up, and for the price and location, you can’t beat it. The last two reviewers might be happier spending $200-$400 a night. Sure, parts could be redone, but we’d rather spend our money going out than on a place where we’re only sleeping. That’s how my wife and I look at it, especially when the place is dated.

I’ve stayed in 300 or more hotels while traveling across the country with my parents, and this one exceeded my expectations. The owners are especially nice, friendly, and courteous, and they work hard to make sure guests’ needs are met. I’ve never had hotel owners treat me so well. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Brandy Lloyd
