The room smelled musty. There was spit on the walls, stains and hair on the sheets, and trash under the bed. There were roaches everywhere. Worst hotel ever. We had no soap and only half a roll of toilet paper. They did refund my money.

As soon as we entered the room, we found a roach beside the bed. We checked the sheets right away and found another one. The walls had crayon all over them, the room smelled like smoke, the sheets were stained, and there was a hole in the bathroom wall. People were yelling outside. We lasted 20 minutes, just long enough to book another hotel and get out. I asked the desk for an immediate refund, but he only said to call whatever phone number I used to book, which was their number. I told him to check me out and that we were leaving. I was prepared to count it as a $90 loss because I wasn't going to have my family sleep there. Do not stay here.

The rooms have been upgraded and cleaned up nicely, and the staff are understanding and will go beyond to meet your needs. The new management and staff are very pleasant and polite. Prince and KP are doing a great job turning the property around and have cleaned up a lot of the bad and unwanted traffic. I have a 7 month old son, and he's fallen in love with the front desk employees because they shower him with so much love. I'll definitely return to the Baymont\Days inn old National. Thank you, Prince and KP, for making the stay comfortable for my son and me.

The airport noise made it impossible to sleep, with planes passing overhead every few seconds. I had planned to spend four days exploring Atlanta, but after one night I flew home because I felt unsafe and couldn't afford another motel. I later learned College Park is considered Atlanta's most dangerous area. I wouldn't call this family friendly, or suitable for solo women or people of color. I arrived alone and immediately felt uneasy in the neighborhood. People around the motel gave me looks when I pulled in, and there seemed to be suspicious people everywhere. Inside, I could smell pot, and guests were coming and going noisily. The receptionists brought up my safety and directed me to a room beside the head of security. The stairwell smelled strongly of pee and had graffiti all over it. Even exhausted from a cross-country flight, I didn't feel comfortable lying on the bed. The chair and floor were wet, the bathroom floor was nasty, and there was faded blood on the bed. I don't understand the positive reviews.
