Element by Marriott Atlanta Midtown

Ryan at the front desk was especially kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our group reservation was easy to arrange, the rooms were very nice, and breakfast had a good selection. We had a great time at Element.

Breakfast was the best part of our stay, thanks to Kyle Duarte, who made it feel like an experience. He was such a ray of sunshine. Claudio downstairs in the restaurant was wonderful, too. They both made our visit so much better. Whatever Kyle is paid, it isn’t enough. Thank you!

The staff are what made this place worth writing about. I was nervous booking somewhere whose name I hadn’t seen before, and going up to the second floor to check in made me more unsure. But stepping out of the elevator, I was welcomed by a sweet smell and modern decor. It turned out to be a hidden gem that isn’t so hidden. Starr G…. was wonderful, so patient, sweet, and kind. The international travelers ahead of me had lots of questions, so there was a short wait, but I didn’t mind. Starr explained everything so thoroughly that it helped me understand things too. She also gave us dinner options, and our choice was a 10/10. Her smile and top tier customer service were admirable. The next morning, Chef Juan made us pancakes and was kind and courteous. Kyke D., AKA “KYLE WITH THE SMILE,” made me want to write this review. We were still eating close to the time they needed to break down the line, but Kyle asked if there were dishes he could clear out of our way, then told us we could leave the others for him. We didn’t feel rushed at all. His smile and laughter really stood out. A hot shower and a clean, comfy room are always great, but the staff’s care for their work shows. I’d want to come back whenever I visit Atlanta. KEEP SMILING!

Kyle “with a Smile” in the dining room was fantastic, courteous, friendly, hardworking, and accommodating. The check-in staff were great as well, though the woman at the desk in the morning seemed annoyed when I asked a question and wasn’t very friendly. The room was very clean, but the coffee pot in room 1209 needed descaling and wouldn’t make coffee. Breakfast was good: the egg white frittata was delicious, the coffee very tasty, and the yogurt with toppings yummy. It’s a great spot for the Fox and nearby restaurants. I’ll be back!
