This place has serious safety and management problems. Recently, we found someone unconscious in the hallway outside our apartment. We couldn’t tell whether he was breathing, injured, or under the influence. When he woke up, he seemed intoxicated, so we tried to get EMTs to check on him. Maintenance said he’d been around the complex all weekend, roaming, so the complex knew he was there. But when we raised our concern with the leasing office, they said he was off the property. Asked how they’d improve safety, we got shallow answers, including that there are cameras at the entrance. Months earlier, a random person who wasn’t a worker banged on our door and made us feel unsafe. Packages have been stolen from the unsecured mail room multiple times this year, including Amazon orders and purchases from other websites. I complained and asked the office to find who was taking them. They said they couldn’t do anything, and brushed it off even though the room has cameras and a code system. It feels like they don’t care about our private property or the items we trust them to keep secure. Since summer, more people have been using the pool areas, including the one next door, and some don’t seem to be residents. The week of the Fourth of July was the worst, with loud noise and other issues that brought in the police. Kids also run around the complex in the middle of the night and cause trouble. When maintenance came to fix my heating unit, there was a large water stain and a puddle from a leak. They fixed the unit but didn’t clean up the water. They were on the phone the whole time and seemed not to care about the mold that could grow. I watched them replace it, then leave without cleaning up or considering the health impact. The office also responds poorly and doesn’t take these issues seriously. The complex is not that great. Maintenance and the office aren’t helpful, and the job isn’t done well. The people living here say the same things. Bugs in the refrigerator, a family of bugs beside it, and bugs on the walls along the hallway to your apartment, I have proof. They charge for everything and lie about hidden fees for things that aren’t even in the lease. I’ll be back with more images. The only good thing is maintenance worker Maria. She’s got a great spirit, works hard, handles things on time, and always makes me laugh when I see her.
