Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Downtown

I was here on a work trip between Atlanta and Miami, traveling on my own, and the warm welcome made a big impression. The hotel really felt like the southern hospitality Atlanta is known for. Everyone, from the front desk to the valet, was awesome. The room was big and nice, which suited me as a filmmaker with a lot of stuff, and the rate was very affordable. It could have been a touch cleaner, since there was a stain on the floor, but otherwise it was clean. I’d definitely recommend this spot.

We stayed for one night and really enjoyed it. The location was handy, just around the corner from the Georgia Aquarium, where we were headed. The hotel felt safe too, since a room key was needed to enter and use the elevators. We had a large passenger van and couldn’t use valet, so we parked in the surface lot across the street without any problems. The rooms were spacious, and I liked having a full fridge. The front desk gentlemen were so welcoming, and Sonya at breakfast was really nice. The only downside was cigarette smoke coming into the bathroom from another guest room, but it didn’t ruin our night. We’d stay here again if we travel back to downtown Atlanta.

This place feels more like home than a hotel, with a lovely design and really great workers. Booking and reserving were both easy, and the bathroom is beautiful. It has what you need all in one room, with a comfortable, almost luxurious feel and good people around you. There’s also a great rooftop area with big grills you can use yourself. I loved it and will definitely come back if I need a temporary place to stay in Atlanta.

I’d happily come back to Home2 Suites in downtown Atlanta. From check-in to breakfast, everyone was friendly and glad to help. I travel often to metro areas on the east coast, and Atlanta was by far the friendliest city I’ve visited. The security and door staff always smiled and did a great job helping me feel safe. Trey at the front desk put me in a beautiful, spacious room on a quiet floor with a great view. Sonya was sweet at breakfast and helped me make my waffle, and housekeeping had the room clean and well stocked, then checked on me at a good time. I appreciated having a microwave, refrigerator, kitchenware, dishwasher, wireless phone charger, and modern thermostat. Everything worked and was clean. The shower had decent water pressure, and the soaps didn’t dry out my skin. There was free wifi, complimentary breakfast, and a cute rooftop lounge too. The breakfast is excellent, so make sure to try it. I’m very pleased with my stay and would love to return to Atlanta. Honestly, I had a better time here than at some Signias/Regencys/Le Meridiens I’ve stayed in 😅
