Nobu Hotel Atlanta

The rooms were very clean, carefully decorated and fitted with high-quality amenities. Nobu’s modern Japanese atmosphere is top notch, with essential oils in the air, and the customer service was phenomenal from arrival right through checkout.

The rooftop pool would be a lovely escape on a warm day, and they occasionally hold pool parties up there for a fun change from the calm atmosphere. During my visit, though, ice on the deck meant we couldn’t use it. We could still step outside for a few photos and appreciate the space. I also didn’t get to try the restaurant, what Nobu is famous for, so I have a reason to return. Nobu Hotel Atlanta feels calm and carefully put together from the moment you walk in. The lobby and hallways are beautifully decorated for the season without being overdone. The room was just as lovely, with clean lines, warm textures and soft lighting, and felt comfortable and well cared for. The mall, restaurants and shops are a short walk away, so the location is convenient without feeling crowded. A beautiful stay, with thoughtful design and a quiet sense of luxury. Highly recommended.

That pool tucked among the high-rises was such a nice surprise, and breakfast was a highlight too. The salmon egg Benedict with its subtle Japanese twist was especially good. We booked a quick girls’ night with Amex FHR, and the warm welcome, clean and roomy space, and calm minimalist decor made the stay better than we expected. I’d happily return.

Mrs Moore at check-in was so welcoming. She arranged our Sunday brunch for opening time and was able to include our guests. We used the $100 credit for brunch, and the breakfast credit covered up to $76 a day. The selection was great. We have the Amex Platinum, and this was easily one of our best stays. Our room looked out over Phipps plaza, where we had a good view of the game. There was also a straightener and a really good hair dryer in the bathroom. We’d definitely come back.
