Standish House 3BR/2.5BA (A) - Includes Bi-weekly Cleanings

We were comfortable enough that I’d definitely stay here again. Standish House is on a quiet street a block from Peachtree, with Piedmont Hospital and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It’s surprisingly quiet for somewhere in the middle of the city, and there’s off-street parking. Our second-floor apartment is a walk-up, with 3 beds and 2 1/2 baths. It’s a lovely renovation of a 100 year old home, furnished comfortably with a tasteful mix of traditional and modern pieces. The place is very clean, well lit by large windows and evening lights, and has plenty of storage. There’s room to entertain or spread out if someone needs privacy to work. The large galley kitchen has the dishes, utensils, pots, and pans we needed, plus plenty of counter space. We noticed a couple of bulbs needed changing during our initial look around, and maintenance took care of them while we were moving in.

We spent over a year at Standish House while our own home was being renovated, and loved the convenient location and quiet neighborhood in the middle of the city. Many nearby restaurants became favorites, especially Tuk Tuk Thai, Botica, and Mellow Mushroom Pizza. There are parks and running trails within walking distance. You can bike easily to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Piedmont Park, and Piedmont Hospital and the Shepherd Center are only a short walk away. My partner and I loved the whole experience, including the quality of the home.
