It's been months without AC, and there are mold in the unit and cockroaches all over. Rent feels far too high for the quality of life here, though we moved in because it was cheap. There's also a loud train nearby and homeless people walking around, and we're in midtown. We first told Raven, our management, about the mold when the guys came out. She insisted they needed to inspect again. After that visit, she said the AC unit was fine and they only needed to order a remote. She sent the guys back after we sent pictures of the mold and posted a negative review on google. The maintenance guys inspected again and said management still had to approve it, so now we're waiting on approval again. Don't live here if you need reliable management. It's hard to reach her, she doesn't follow up or follow through, and the company that owns the place has no physical office.

The aircon units have mold growing in them, which worries me as a health issue because residents are breathing in mold spores every day. Management has been unresponsive despite our calls and emails, and it feels like our concerns aren't being taken seriously. I hope management will act quickly and make the needed improvements. Until these problems are addressed, I'd urge anyone considering the apartment complex to be cautious.

It's a quiet, nice neighborhood, and StudioZero Apartments are very close to my Midtown job. I like the apartments and appreciate having a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and free parking. The manager, Anekka, is incredible, kind, and on top of anything that needs taking care of.

The maintenance guys are third party, we're told, and they come when they can. Each time they show up, we're not home because nobody calls ahead, days or even hours before. They only call once they're already here. We never had this problem with the previous management. Our AC has had a mold issue for months and it still isn't resolved. The first techs who came said the whole unit needed replacing. We've notified management so many times, but the new property management, Raivane Calhoun, hasn't taken it seriously. This is a serious health risk for my wife and me.
