The Lofts On Ponce

The customer service was great when I had trouble getting into the stairwell. It was completely my mistake, but I called the number and someone quickly helped me into my room. The property is well lit, and you enter the stairwell through a locked door with a combination lock. My room was small but comfortable and more than enough for two people, with a nice little kitchen, washer and dryer, couch, TV, and bistro table. The bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean. On the downside, walking to the lofts meant passing quite a bit of homelessness. I had no personal issue, but it’s worth mentioning. One night there was what I’d call a homeless party in the parking lot below my room. It was a little loud but didn’t keep me awake, though I can see how it might make someone uneasy. Some of the decor felt very cheap. The bedroom side table and shelves over the toilet seemed so poorly made I worried they might collapse under very little weight. Updating those would make the lofts feel better appointed.
