The room was spotless, nicely decorated, and furnished in an up-to-date style. I used the gym almost every day. It was clean and kept at a great temperature. The beach was just across the road, through one row of houses, and the numbered path markers were easy to spot. For fresh seafood, The Shark Shack is the best spot we found, less than a three-minute drive along the main road. I'm definitely coming back! 😉

We just wrapped up a week here and were really happy with it. Our two boys are eight and five, and the family-friendly setup worked great. The pools were nice, beach access was super convenient, and having the option to cook and eat in the dining room or head out made things easy. I can't recommend the Atlantic Beach Resort enough for families. A pod of dolphins came by on the beach on our last full day. It was wonderful. We'll be back soon!

We had a nice little family vacation. Loved being so close to the beach and watching both the sunrises and sunsets. Having three pools to choose from was great, and the tennis courts were a bonus too. We might do it again someday.

The beach access was lovely, and I really liked having my own kitchen. The rooms have a cozy, apartment-like feel. There are tables outside for everyone, and a few give you a glimpse of the beach. The grills are charcoal, so plan for that. The putt-putt course is a bit underwhelming, though there's another one at the local park right next door. The website doesn't mention that they sold the indoor pool and hot tub, along with several other units. You may still be able to use that area, but it's not guaranteed. As of 5/11/26, it was still accessible, though I don't know how long that will continue. It feels more like an apartment area now.

Staff are consistently courteous and professional. The resort is well placed for visiting several small towns and has three pools, one heated and two outdoors. The two things that need attention are the luggage carts, which need replacing, and the very dated playground, which needs repairs. The putt-putt area needs work too.
