Best Western Mayport Inn & Suites

We've booked here before, though it's been a few years, and both visits were pleasant. Everything was clean, from the lobby and hallways to the breakfast area and our room. The service and atmosphere were friendly, and the price was affordable. It's also within a few miles of Atlantic Beach and Jax Beach.

Pretty decent for what we paid. It was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. We only needed a room for one night because our apartment wasn't ready for us to move into, and this place worked out well. Breakfast was included, with a good variety of choices.

In my 40 years, this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We found and killed roaches in the bathroom right as we were getting ready for bed on two separate occasions. The second time, we packed up, told management, and left. The odor was unbearable enough that we bought an air freshener. The service team was the only good part. I will never stay here again, and I'm working to get it removed from the military preferred list. Not worth the lower price. Avoid this place.

We had a better experience here than at the previous place we stayed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Our friends did have to switch rooms because of a smell we couldn't identify, but the staff moved them quickly and graciously. This property is extremely nice. If we need a motel again, we'll stay here. A clean room, a comfortable bed, and kind staff really matter to tired families on the road, business travelers, and people who need somewhere temporary while moving. I recommend this Best Western!!!
