Rodeway Inn Boardwalk Atlantic City

Room 304, checked in 8/28/23. Water was all over the corridor, and I nearly slipped on the stairs going up to my room. Inside, the smell was nauseating, the carpet was stained, and the bed didn't feel like a bed. Worst of all, goo shot out of the bathroom faucet. The front desk manager had a terrible attitude when I checked in, and the hotel was in awful condition. If I could give this horrifying place 0/5, I would.

The room was clean, even the carpet, and there were plenty of towels that seemed new. The air conditioning and heat worked well, and the TV was great. I did wish there had been a coffee maker. Oddly, there was just one hanger.

The location is prime, and if you're spending all your time on the boardwalk or beach, I guess it works. But I'd only stay one night, and only as a last “resort.” It was barely better than sleeping in my car. The room was awful: a broken window screen, very dirty floor, and stained sheets. I paid over $240 for it. Parking was $15 for your own car and $20 for any additional one. The same guy helped us a few months ago and was chill, got things done, and made us laugh, but the room itself was by far the worst I've ever had.

The room smelled of smoke, especially the bathroom, and the bed was very uncomfortable. I paid $230 per night and won't come back or recommend the place. I'd rather spend an extra $100 and stay at casino hotels. This was 0/5 for me. The front desk person was very rude. I asked a simple question, couldn't understand his answer, and asked him to repeat it. He told me, “get the hell out of here if you don’t understand.” When I asked for the manager, he said he was the manager. He said his name was Nimee or whatever it was. If you don't like your job, quit, but don't be rude to customers and hurt someone else's business.
