We were in Chicago for a funeral, unfortunately, but Hilton Grand Vacations took great care of us and made the stay amazing. Our room was great and had a view from the top floor. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and knew the resort well. The staff get a 10/10 from me. Thanks again, Hilton, for a wonderful first stay. We look forward to coming back.

The sales pitch leans hard on urgency, emotional appeals, and verbal promises that are difficult to verify later. Once you sign, getting clear answers becomes much harder, and concerns often get redirected instead of addressed. The whole experience felt designed to pressure people into a major financial decision without making clear what they were actually buying. The presentation makes the vacations, flexibility, and value sound polished, but afterward the real experience seems very different. Explanations of points, availability, fees, upgrades, and what ownership provides are vague and confusing. Ongoing costs and limitations get played down while the benefits get emphasized, so what you think you’re buying doesn’t match the actual usefulness or value. I also noticed the sales pressure seemed to ramp up once they had an idea of your income or financial flexibility. The more they thought you could afford, the more intense and predatory it felt. It was less like hospitality and more like being pushed through a scripted sales process meant to maximize commitment and monthly payment tolerance. If you attend one of these presentations, be extremely skeptical. Work out the long-term costs, maintenance fees, financing, and actual booking availability independently. Don’t rely on verbal claims or let yourself be rushed into signing that day. Get everything in writing and compare it carefully with what you were told.

The rooftop pool and lounge were a great bonus in the city, and we slept well in the super comfortable beds. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a great view, with the amenities you’d expect from a high-end hotel. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome. The lobby and common areas felt modern, clean, and well maintained, and the property felt safe. You’re just steps from the Magnificent Mile, restaurants, and downtown attractions. Wonderful stay, and I’d recommend it for business, family trips, or a weekend getaway.

The room was great, and it really showed me how much good service matters, even as someone who stays at a lot of Hiltons. Nick, the front desk supervisor, was amazing. I was delayed, and he remembered a phone call we’d had a full day earlier without me even mentioning it. He also had a lot going on around him but still treated me very kindly.

Everything felt updated, clean, and inviting. I’m picky about hotels and spent a lot of time researching before choosing this one, and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in, and I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about my stay. I did have to dodge the time share staff a few times, but that was a small inconvenience. Highly recommend!
