We were happy with the room, which was decent for the price, until this morning. We left around 8:15 to get coffee for my wife at a nearby shop. When we came back at about 9, the door was open and the cleaning staff were inside, throwing things on the counters away and working around our belongings. We hadn't checked out, and checkout wasn't until 11. I tried explaining that, but they didn't seem to speak English. After several attempts, we just grabbed our things. Now we're waiting for family in the lobby because apparently our room isn't ours anymore. I had planned to shower and finish getting ready, but couldn't. I don't usually complain, but I explained what happened at the front desk. They seemed willing to offer a discount, but said they couldn't because we booked through an outside vendor, as many people do. We're very disappointed with the stay.

After an hour trying to check in, I gave up and went to another hotel. There was nobody at the front desk, just a kiosk where someone contacts you by FaceTime when you come in. I book through an app, and the payment card is generated, so sometimes my agent has to call to push the payment through. The connection to the hotel's number was too poor to talk properly, and I was passed between at least three people in the same building. Having my agent talk to the kiosk over my speakerphone wasn't productive. They emailed my agent a payment form link, since they don't take card details over the phone. But my agency is in Canada and the form only accepts US addresses. Then they wanted a picture of the payment card, which wasn't possible because it was generated. I stopped the whole process, asked them to cancel the reservation, and refused the kiosk man's offer to escalate it before walking out. Ten minutes down the road, another hotel took three minutes to check me in, with someone there to talk to. The whole experience has me questioning whether I'll book a hotel without first walking into its office.

We were in the middle of moving and had our cats with us. Although the listing says pet friendly, they apparently only allow dogs in pet friendly rooms, so they refused our reservation when we mentioned the cats. The listing should be clearer about that. The location is out of the way and security seemed very minimal. There wasn't even a person at the front desk when we arrived, just a strange clerk terminal for an outsourced check in. Good luck to anyone trying to stay here.

After a long trip, I ended up here and found way more than 10 bed bugs. It was awful. I had to squash them. 👎🏻

A quiet little spot close to the interstate, and the air conditioner worked extremely well. The room was pretty good and clean, with very comfortable beds. If you're after somewhere nice to rest your neck for a night, this place does the job.
