The room was clean, but old and run down, with a small bed, a dingy bathroom, and worn appliances in the kitchenette. It smelled of Pine-Sol and weed. Broken furniture and light switch plates didn’t help, and there’s no coffee in the room. Breakfast was bare bones, just cold cereal, microwavable waffles, toast, and bad coffee. Customer service was weak too. The kid who checked us in was polite and apologized when we asked to switch rooms, but everyone else seemed distant and couldn’t be bothered to communicate or return a good morning. This is a cheap budget hotel, and it has none of the usual comforts or amenities I expect from a Wyndham.

The neighborhood is nice, but it felt like management couldn’t care less about the business. We saw a 4.2 star rating when we booked, and I don’t understand it. Our room was gross: sticky tables, broken blinds, a stove that looked 50 years old, a toilet seat that didn’t fit, and a stained, dirty chair. The place was unclean and had poor amenities. My girlfriend was pissed we stayed there.

I work in hospitality and have been in the industry for over 30 years. I’ve seen worse than the Baymont, but expected better. I stayed one night, and the rooms are tiny. I couldn’t connect to Wi-Fi because my phone gave security warnings. The front desk employee said the internet was absolutely horrible because management uses low budget, untrustworthy service. The elevator wasn’t working at all. The kitchenette and refrigerator were filthy, and housekeeping doesn’t move things to sweep or vacuum underneath.

It looked like someone had been living in the room and nobody had cleaned up. There was no breakfast, nothing, and the customer service was awful and lazy. This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I wouldn’t bring my dog here. Do not stay here. Zero stars.

We were checking out and asking for our money back less than five minutes after checking in. The room was awful in every way, and I had a bad feeling as soon as I walked into the property. We literally ran out and found better accommodations nearby.
