Courtyard by Marriott Auburn

The hotel is neat and clean, and I’ll definitely return. My TV wasn’t working, but Artie fixed it right away. He was professional and respectful.

The entrance doors open slowly, and there’s a glass panel by the entry that you might not notice until you nearly walk into it. That was our only complaint this time. We’ve stayed here many times because the location is convenient, and after a very disappointing visit four months ago, we gave it one last try. On that earlier stay, the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed, the bathroom floor wasn’t mopped, the TV didn’t work, and a front desk agent was rude to guests checking in. The GM and upper management did nothing after several phone calls, so we left after two days very disappointed. This visit was much better. Laura, a new staff member, checked us in with patience, attention, helpful information, kindness, and a lovely smile. She went out of her way to make our two days pleasant, and the young woman working alongside her was kind too. Everything in the room worked, including the two TVs, thermostat, microwave, mini fridge, and blow dryer. The beds were cozy and very comfortable. As usual, we appreciated the pool, hot breakfast, and bar that stays open late. We enjoyed this visit and will return as long as service stays this good.

Mrs Tracy was so helpful and polite, and the staff were wonderful during my stay. My room was beautiful, immaculate, and very well kept. Thanks so much.

We used this as our base for parents weekend, and it worked out great. The lobby and Starbucks were lovely, the rooms had plenty of space and everything we needed, and getting in and out was easy. Campus was a quick drive away. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Auburn.
