Economy Inn Auburn

I love this place. The owners and all the employees are amazing, and the rooms are clean and smell fresh when you walk in. The beds are super comfy, and housekeeping does a great job.

I've stayed here many times and will come back. The service is impeccable, and the people I've run into in the hallways and outside have been friendly. It's simple and comfortable, reasonably priced, in a great location, and surprisingly quiet for the area. The parking lot feels safe and is well lit. It could use a makeover, and there are stained carpets and outdated furniture. The amenities are limited to a very simple continental breakfast in the morning. Still, it's within walking distance of LA Fitness and fast food restaurants, and less than 5 minutes from I5 and Hwy 167.

The room was small, but clean and quiet, and the desk clerks were pleasant and helpful. It's a great price, though there aren't many amenities.

There was a hole in the ceiling, and the appliances were broken or missing parts. The room was filthy, with hairs on the bed and stains on the sheets. When I told the receptionist, she was rude. There was no check-in or check-out paperwork, and the receptionist gave the room I'd just left to another guest without cleaning it or fixing the sheets. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, not even my worst enemy!
