Dave and Steve were terrific hosts, and breakfast was great. Their home is beautifully decorated, and the property itself is lovely. It’s just one block from town, an easy walk. Our room had its own entrance on the side of the house, so we had to go outside to get back to the main house for breakfast. No big deal. Couldn’t ask for more in Camden.

The walk into downtown Camden for shops and restaurants is very easy, and the breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and farm fresh eggs. The hosts were so accommodating, and the rooms were spacious, well appointed, and very clean. This B&B is amazing. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it!

We liked being close enough to walk to everything downtown, while still having a quiet place to rest. The rooms were stunning and the location was fantastic. They were also so personal with us and our young son, which made our stay feel extra special. We absolutely enjoyed our visit!

The Abigail Inn was easily our favorite stop on a recent family road trip through Maine. Dave and Stephen made us feel at home, remembered our breakfast preferences, and gave us room while still being around whenever we needed them. They even showed us their custom chicken coop! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a good size. Getting to town was quick and convenient, but the inn sits just far enough from the busy sidewalks. We couldn’t recommend staying here more.

I’ve stayed at Abigail’s three times now, and it’s quickly become the annual trip I look forward to most. It may be my favorite place to stay anywhere in the U.S. The property is beautiful and historic, less than a five-minute walk from Camden’s center, with all the town’s charm, beauty, and history nearby. The rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable, with antiques and local wares. Outside, the grounds are lovely, from the girls in the back (the chickens) to the porch where I had coffee each morning. Dave and Stephen are such warm, thoughtful hosts. They’re funny, have great recommendations for hidden gems and good meals, and are a big reason I keep coming back. Dave’s breakfasts are divine, too. Each morning brings a different, equally incredible meal, often made with homegrown and local ingredients. I could go on about Abigail’s. Dave, I’m serious about being your apprentice innkeeper if you ever need one!
