The location worked perfectly for us, and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Employees were attentive when we needed help and took care of our requests quickly. Still, the room felt underwhelming by today's hotel standards. The heat lamp on a timer was a surprise, and the TV didn't work fully from its remote. Each queen bed had only three pillows. We could have asked for more, but four per bed seems like a reasonable starting point. The elevator was loud whenever its doors opened or closed, though luckily we weren't near it. I didn't pay, so I can't judge the value. Maybe we got what we paid for, but if I return to Auburn, I'd probably choose an Airbnb instead, which is what I usually prefer.

We booked through a third party, so the reservation wasn't refundable, but we left that same night and found a more reputable place about 20 minutes away for the same rate. It's a shame, because the town is charming and has great restaurants. We used to stay here about 15 years ago, when management was amazing and there were Friday and Saturday welcome receptions with local wine, beer, and snacks. This time, we arrived to an exterminator and two people getting off the elevator who reeked of weed. The place has gone completely downhill. We'll never be back.

The room smelled strongly of urine, and we got only three feet inside before turning back. The refund was handled quickly. The automated check-in kiosk and the apparent lack of staff on site were disconcerting.

The location was so convenient, with coffee shops and boutiques just around the corner and everything else only minutes away. Everyone was friendly, and whenever we needed something, the staff were quick to help. Thanks for a lovely stay. I'll definitely come back!

The room had a very strong weed smell. At 9 am, a man who worked there banged on my door, yelling and cussing. They charged a $100 incidental fee and returned it, then charged me another $30 two days after checkout for “trying to steal property, and linen damage.” They couldn't tell me what was damaged or what I supposedly tried to steal.
