Just gross. It looks like the motel hasn’t been remodeled since my wife attended college in Auburn in the 80s. There were only a few wires hanging from the ceiling where a smoke detector should have been. It’s right beside Auburn's most popular undergrad bar, so expect noise until early morning. This place may suit undergrads who want to get wasted downtown. Anyone else should stay away.

I appreciate the price, but there were several serious drawbacks. My room had no shampoo or conditioner, and there were no coffee pots, coffee, or clocks in the rooms. There weren’t any “do not disturb” signs either. Breakfast didn’t start until 7:00 a.m., and the coffee in the office was extremely weak.

I wouldn’t give this hotel a star. The room wasn’t clean, roaches were crawling around, and there was visible mold in the shower. The staff weren’t friendly at all. I had my family with me, which made it even worse. I’d rather sleep outside than stay there again.

LOVE staying here. We’ve been coming for years, and the owners are just fabulous. It’s easily the best tailgate spot in Auburn, and convenient to everything!

During off semesters, this feels about as close to living on campus as you can get. I stayed at University inn for a week for plainsman prep and would recommend it.
