Best Western Plus Augusta Civic Center Inn

We keep coming back to this Best Western and love it. It may be dated, as some reviews say, but we find it clean, comfortable, and equipped with what we need. The staff always go above and beyond, and the continental breakfast is among the best. It’s nice to see familiar faces each time. Thanks again!

On 2/13/2026, the front desk worker, who I think was the manager, treated me like a criminal and accused me of altering the hotel CLC card. She wouldn’t let me check in and kept going round and round about it. I’ve traveled for work for around 15 years and stayed at this hotel several times before, and nobody else there has ever done this. After several calls and her taking my driver’s license, she finally calmed down, but only after getting information from someone else and receiving a call directly to her from a number other than my cellphone. So thanks for making me feel like a second-class citizen. I relayed her attitude to CLC, and they’ll reevaluate what the problem is.

I’m thoroughly disgusted with the customer service. I called three separate times to reserve a room and was quoted 189 per night. I asked for a confirmation email on each call, but never received one. When we arrived, the rate showed as 309 per night, and they had no record anywhere of the price I’d been quoted. My address and email address were also wrong when I got there, despite the email request, and weren’t the details I’d provided. The service has been abhorrent.

I really liked the outdoor patio, and the welcome bag and warm greeting made for a nice arrival. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of options, with fresh items served hot or cold. It’s also very easy to get to from the highway, with lots of amenities nearby. Excellent hotel!
