Budgetel Inn and Suite

The smell of skunk weed reached the rooms, and I was breathing it in the whole time. I have severe asthma and allergies, and had to do an emergency breathing treatment. It wasn’t fun. I couldn’t stay long enough to see my family.

The only decent part was the hot water in the shower. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat, while the sheets looked dingy white. The room smelled of smoke and had roaches by the fridge and microwave. The TV didn’t work properly either. The booking pictures fooled me, and I wish I could get my money back. I’d never recommend it, and next time I’ll research before booking. I didn’t want to give it a star, but the site required one to post.

The floors looked like they never get cleaned. My white socks turned black in under 30 seconds of walking on them, and the replacement sheets I asked for were filthy too. They leave stained sheets in circulation even when the stains won’t come out. There are roaches all over the back rooms, while only the rooms at the front seem fixed up and nice. Something is always wrong with the TVs or Wi-Fi. Don’t waste your time here.

I was told the reservation was canceled and that I wouldn’t be charged, but the charge still went through. When I called, the manager wouldn’t look up my reservation, saying he wasn’t there. He claimed I was charged because I “talk too much.” The room had no TV, just a gap where it had been taken off the wall, and it looked badly infested with roaches. I refused to stay. Complete joke. I’d never recommend this location, and I’ll make sure people hear about it.
