Comfort Inn Augusta

I didn’t feel comfortable or able to relax here. The room’s bathroom was tiny, the carpet looked dirty, and the couch was worn and filthy, with obvious sun bleaching across the blue fabric. The place needs serious upgrades and didn’t feel clean. The elevator had an outdated inspection certificate, and there was a strong weed smell on the third floor. Other reviews mention the same smell, so maybe smoking is allowed, or perhaps an employee was responsible. I can’t say for sure. The coffee was instant and tasted awful, even in the breakfast area. I travel a lot and found a lot wrong here. Standards seem low. I used points for the stay, and I’m glad I didn’t have to pay, because I would’ve been upset.

I was here for two nights with my dogs while my mother had surgery. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the whole hotel seemed clean. Everyone was kind and helpful, and the service was great. They also had a little hot cocoa bar that was delicious and so cute. Thanks to everyone there!

The dining room was busy, but the staff kept the food stocked and the serving areas clean. Breakfast was hot and had several hot and cold options, and the people preparing it looked clean and followed food safety. Front desk service was excellent, and housekeeping was helpful and accommodating. The room, bathroom, tub, toilet, and pool were all clean. Our bed was clean and comfortable, and the floor, wing, and room were extremely quiet. The pool room was clean and hot; the water felt warm, though not as warm as the air. The exercise room had everything needed for a workout. This was one of my better Comfort Inn stays, and I’ll return.

They wouldn’t let my wife and infant use the restroom, so she had to cross a pretty busy street to find one. If you offer that many superchargers, travelers coming from far away will use them and may need a bathroom. I could understand restricting access at night while guests are asleep, maybe, but this happened in the late morning. Really lame policy.
