The room was never cleaned, and the pool was closed, the ATM was out of order, and none of the gym equipment worked. On top of that, I was told just three hours before check-in that the one-bedroom queen suite I booked wasn't available. They offered a regular double, then charged me the same price. I don't think it's fair to pay the same for less than I reserved. There were about four girls around preteen to early teen age racing through the halls and bumping into people. They'd say sorry, then keep doing it, so it didn't feel sincere. It seemed like their parents rented rooms for them to hang out, and the behavior was allowed because they're local. They had free run of the lobby and hallways, making it hard for guests to enjoy a quiet stay. With the missing amenities and the chaos from unattended teens, I wouldn't book here again.

It felt gross staying here. The place is run down, dirty, and smelled strongly of weed. My room wasn't clean, the towels had black marks from previous guests, and the shower had no pressure. For $300 a night, I expected much better. They also hold another $150 on your account for up to a week. Definitely not worth the price.

The bed bugs were awful. I moved through three rooms, and all of them had bugs. Room 102 was the worst I've ever seen, especially the bed closest to the bathroom. It didn't look like it had been treated properly, either. They simply made the room up as if nothing was wrong. Room 305 had them too. I was told housekeepers and management already knew about the problem, and staff showed no reaction when I gave them clear evidence. Many housekeepers live here, and there are a lot of permanent residents. In the last room, baby roaches were crawling out of gaps. Corey didn't comp my stay. I think he knew about the bed bugs already and would rather lose a customer than fix the problem. The rates may be cheap and the area decent, but be careful if you stay. Bugs got into my things, and little ones were crawling out of my luggage. I had to keep my belongings in a plastic bag in the bathtub on my last night, and I'm still afraid I'll have to throw away most of my clothes so I don't carry them somewhere else. They need to treat this thoroughly before more rooms get infested. I believe it may already be happening across the hotel. Do not let them put you in room 102.

The third floor seemed quiet, and the bed looked clean. I slept well after a tiring trip, then showered and left. I didn't try breakfast, so that's all I can say about the stay. I used points for a free night. The window sheer was torn and the back of the remote was missing, so I told the desk to avoid being charged for it. The only vending and drink machines were both out of order, and I was too tired to drive somewhere for a drink. The room could've been cleaner: the windows were smeared and the bathroom soap dispenser looked visibly dirty, like someone with dirty hands had mixed water into it. Hall carpets were stained or had residue left from cleaning. I've traveled for 18 years and don't have high standards, but those things stood out.

The checkout woman was so nice, easily the best part. Check-in was awful and made me late for my own wedding. They charged $25 because I arrived 40 minutes early. The room wasn't up to Choice standards. The pullout couch was nasty, with toenail clippings on it, and there was a big white stain on the cushions. Mold covered the tub caulking, and paint was peeling around the door handles. Does anyone inspect rooms or put in work orders? The pool area was lacking too, with cheap plastic furniture that didn't feel brand standard. At breakfast a man walked around singing and dancing with a knife at his side. I have kids under 10, and I was worried about our safety. Before a front desk agent gets rude, someone should work on the property.
