Days Inn by Wyndham Augusta Wheeler Road

The location was nice, but the room smelled strongly of cigarettes and the blankets had holes in them. I was there from Monday morning, and service staff didn't show up until Wednesday afternoon. They never brought the things we asked for. 😡

The room was really dirty, the beds were hard as rocks, and there weren't any clean towels. The heater was either blasting heat or not working at all. I wasn't offered another room for the heater or the TV problems. The TV stopped working after about an hour, and even after the front desk person came by to move it and switch some cords around, it failed again. I had to call him back more than once. When I asked for a refund, I was told no, even though several things I was supposed to be able to use didn't work.

I stayed four nights and, since I was worried about it, checked for rodents and roaches. I didn't see any, which was a plus. A couple of nights there was noise outside my room. Bring your own towels.

I needed a cheap place for one night during a bowling tournament, and this was adequate. The rooms are small and dated, though clean. They let me check in almost two hours early, which I really appreciated. The staff were very helpful.
