The room was horrible, with blood stains on the bed, mold on the ceiling, and corrosion on the metal fixtures. The old spring mattress, maybe from 1990, was far from comfortable. We came with two dogs. The first was free and the second cost $15, though the waiver I signed listed $10. I wouldn't stay here again even if I were paid.

The smell was awful, like sleeping in someone else's gym bag. There were holes in the walls, cigarette ash on burned sheets, and a partly opened can of soda in the fridge. The toilet seat was ripped off and left on the floor. When I moved many of my staff to another hotel after we'd had the keys for only an hour, they charged me for a day. The owners clearly don't care. There are better hotels nearby. Seriously, sleep in your car or on the roadside.

I've never stayed in a motel room this disgusting. I walked barefoot for a couple of minutes and the bottoms of my feet turned solid black, so I don't think the floor has been cleaned this century. The fridge and shower were dirty, and the shower had splatters of red liquid that I really hope wasn't blood. Used plastic cups, stained brown with who knows what, were mixed in with the "clean" ones. The front door wouldn't close all the way.

I felt safe here as a woman alone in a new town. The parking lot was well lit and there were security cameras everywhere. My room was neat and clean, and the staff were always welcoming and nice. I also appreciated having a full size fridge and cook top.
